A calling inhabits the blank pages, unfolding a secret writing of hers. The unseen written traces seep from the murmuring land, pushing through fragmented voices to become new forms, beings made material. Framed as a dialogue with my grandmother, this film explores an alternative form of personal writing by Chinese women in political shifts, absent and abundant. The 'blank' becomes an image, carrying a search for agency; of land transformed and of women unheard. By breaking down linguistic structures, the film opens a space for imagining, reading, and performing, allowing for emergence.&#38;nbsp;

从无生有，从静生声。一种栖息在空白纸页上的召唤，展开她未曾宣告的秘密字迹。这些书写的痕迹从低语的大地中渗出，穿透破碎的声音，最终化为具象的存在。以我和我奶奶的对话为框架，本片探索了中国女性在重大政治事件背景下的另类个人写作形式——一种既被省略又富有丰盈感的写作，一种与大地、身体相连的书写。‘留白’本身化作一种图像，承载着对主体性的追溯：被改变的土地和未被听见的女性个人叙事。本片试图通过打破传统的语言结构，为观众开辟一个开放的空间予以想象、阅读与表演。


Through an image–sound experiment imbued with the spirit of labor and the traces of handcraft, the film revisits, translates, and dialogues with women’s private–collective memories. Blankness is both history and space. Tongue Film (working title)&#38;nbsp; is an autobiographical 16 mm project exploring often-ignored, invisible disease aspects with unknown causes. The film sheds light on a interplay between physically unpredictable emergence and psychological distress through my grandmother’s suffering from tongue cancer and my own sleeping experiences with urinary incontinence. It drives out a mediation of the confrontation with the uncontrolled body and leaked desires through celluloid hand-processing.

"I" believe that he is still there, and “I" hope to see him again. Somewhere on the ruins, heis surely waiting for a soul that still tries to find him. Through a trip to the place where he used tolive, “I” search for those restless ones wandering between the past and the present.
Been There Done That visualizes my fictional trip to the Western Guangdong, where I grew up. Based on scenes taken from our family life, from a perspective of my internal monologue, this film reconstructs a story between me and the father of my grandfather, who has passed away. Going from one place to another, I keep looking for traces left by him. Faced with death and the subsequent dispersion, through this film, I strive to prove that connections between family members will not simply vanish when one of them passes away.&#38;nbsp;
“我”始终相信他还在，“我”还是希望见到他。在那废墟之上，他肯定在等着某个正在寻他的灵魂。一次的故地重游之旅，“我”试图找寻在过去和现时之间游走的、不安的鬼魂。
《此时彼地》虚构了一次“我”回到粤西家乡的故地重游。基于真实的家庭场景，短片通过我的内心独白视角，重新构建了一个我和去世亲人—公祖的家庭故事。在旧址游荡之间，面对死亡的离散， “我”不断找寻公祖的踪迹。

Instead of creating moving images, I am interested in making images move. In this ongoing experiment, I continue to explore the immaterial energies of analog projectors, such as the wind and the heat exhaled from their mechanisms.
The project was developed during the residency at AUTOMATA.
